In this post we are focusing on how to boost speed of your PC. Most of the people complain or face this problem after long usage suddenly they feel that the PC is running not per their expectation. Cleaning of Temp Files
Cleaning of temp files is needed. As temp files will slow down you RAM performance as huge amount of data is stored in the temp memory. This will eventually slow downs your system's performance. Cleaning Temp files once a week/month based on usage is must to increase your performance.
Steps for cleaning "temp" files
1. Open Start Menu
2. Go to Run
3. Type "%temp%" and press OK.
4. File Explorer will open. Click on the Area and Press CTRL+A (for selecting All files) and press CTRL+DEL (Delete the files permanently).
Note: Close all the programs running and perform this steps for better results. If you find any risk better to take a backup or create a restore point.
Cleaning up Recycle Bin
Memory consumed by the Disk is also one of the key factor for system performance. If you are running out of memory and your recycle bin is full, better to delete your recycle bin for optimal performance.
Steps for cleaning RECYCLE BIN
1. Right click on the Recycle Bin on the Desktop
2. Click on Empty Recycle Bin.
Using Anti Virus
Scanning your system for virus need an anti virus software. Scanning you system for virus and updating your anti virus for the latest updates keeps your system safe and secure. Infact updating your system with latest updates keeps your data safe and also keeps your system safe from running low. As modern computer is not a computer until it is connected to internet. Connecting to internet may lead to malware/torzen attack to your system. Using a best anti virus software keeps safe to your system from such attacks.
Keep Track of your Startup programs
Startup programs are the one which will start running in the background till the windows desktop appears till it shutdown. If you find any of the programs which are not useful disable such from startup it will have an impact on the speed of the system.
Steps to see the startup programs.
1. Go to the taskbar.
2. Right click on the empty area.
3. Click on Task Manager
4. Click on More Details
5. Go to the Tab Startup at the Top.
Make sure all the programs mentioned are necessary for you.
Clean Up and Disk De-Fragmentation
Clean Up and Disk defragmentation are needed once or twice a year if you are not a heavy user of system. Cleaning will remove all the unused temp files and all other data from your computer and defragmentaion will arrange the files in line which has an impact w.r.t the application performance.
